Nestled in the historic Eastern Market Area of Washington DC, My Cake Theory presents customers with a unique cupcake experience. In crafting the interior space, it was only fitting to mirror the vibrancy and inviting nature of the delightful treats on offer. The 1,600 square foot space, situated on the ground level of a historic townhouse built in the late 1800s, presented design challenges that were met with a robust and vibrant solution, creating an atmosphere that welcomes customers to enjoy a delightful treat.
Despite the constraints posed by the historic townhouse structure, the design team took on the challenge and transformed potential limitations into opportunities for creativity.
The vibrant color palette chosen for the space brings a sense of playfulness and warmth. Bold hues are strategically incorporated into the interior, creating a lively and engaging ambiance that resonates with the essence of the cupcakes offered. The design not only accommodates the historical context but also enhances it with a contemporary and lively twist.
